In February, I attended The Southern C Summit for the first time! Friends have raved about it for years, so I finally decided to go! It was 3 days of amazing speakers, networking, and hanging out at The Cloister at Sea Island. It was so fun to hear from Lydia Mansel and Elizabeth Mayhew of Draper James, Darcy Miller, Ellen McGauley of Veranda magazine, and more great speakers!

One thing I loved about the Summit was meeting people I only knew through Instagram or reconnecting with friends that don’t live in Charleston. This was the case with my friend Caroline of LCB Style! Back in 2017, Caroline visited Charleston and we shot her blog photos together for the first time. Our Charleston shoot is still one of my favorites of all time, so I was excited to photograph Caroline again at The Southern C Summit! We photographed a few of the looks she wore during the summit with The Cloister hotel as our backdrop. My job was easy!
